A series where many people thought we would get a blowout has all of a sudden had new life breathed into it after the Celtics escaped the Pacers in Game 1. The Pacers looked like they had the Celtics dead to rights and they could have won it, but instead, they chocked it away with Jaylen Brown saving the day and the Celtics pulling away in overtime. Here we continue our NBA odds series, where our Pacers-Celtics Game 2 prop bets to consider prediction and pick will be unveiled.

No one was giving the Pacers much of a chance heading into this series. The Celtics won the regular season series against the Pacers at 3-2, and finished as the top seed in the NBA Playoffs, while the Pacers finished as the sixth seed. This series features two of the best offenses in the NBA this season, but the Celtics have one of the better defenses too. Here are some great props to look at for all of the playmakers in this series for both teams. Look out basketball fans and try and make some money!

Here are the NBA odds, courtesy of FanDuel.

Pacers-Celtics Game 2 Prop Odds

Myles Turner Over 16.5 Points (-113)

Over 224.5 Points (-110)

Jayson Tatum Over 5.5 Assists (-102)

Why Turner Will Score Over 16.5 Points

Turner has been a difference-maker for the Pacers this season, especially in the postseason. The Pacers have a lot of depth so they spread the ball around overall on offense and it has made for one of the best offenses in the NBA this season. Through the 14 games that the Pacers have played this season, Turner has hit over this number in nine games. He adds an extra dimension offensively for the Pacers down low and then he also can step out and make shots from the outside. He is an x-factor, especially against the Celtics where they do not have a big presence down low outside of Kristaps Porzingis.

The biggest key to getting Turner going will be the guards for the Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton runs that offense, but T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard have also been massive in helping the offense along, especially in the postseason. Seven different Pacers average over double digits and have balance. Turner is key for the Pacers and I would expect him to hit over this number because he hit over this number in Game 1 and with Porzingis questionable to play he has a good matchup once again against Al Horford or a less than 100% Porzingis.

Why the Over 224.5 Points Will Hit

We saw the scoring on full display in Game 1. These two teams combined to hit over this number in regulation at 234 and the final score was at 261. These are the two highest-scoring teams in the NBA playoffs. The Pacers are averaging 115.2 points per game, while the Celtics are averaging 110.4 points per game in the postseason alone. This was the same ranking during the regular season with the Pacers leading the way at 123.3 points per game and the Celtics leading the way at 120.6 points per game. Seven different players on the Pacers average over double digits, while it is five players for the Celtics. Both of these teams can explode on offense and Game 1 was a big preview for that.

Why Jayson Tatum Will Record Over 5.5 Assists

The Celtics go as Jayson Tatum goes this year. Tatum leads the way in scoring at 25.4 points per game, rebounds at 10.5 per game, and he already averages over this number in assists at 5.6. In 11 games during the postseason, Tatum has hit over this number five times. He is the engine that makes the Celtics go and he has been having a great postseason so far. He shares the ball on offense more than the guards for the Celtics do in both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. Both Holiday and White average 4.5 and 4.3 assists per game respectively. Tatum runs the offense for the Celtics and he should hit over this number because the Pacers do not defend well and Tatum will want to help get the rest of the Celtics going at home.

Final Pacers-Celtics Game 2 Prop Bets Prediction & Pick

Expect all kinds of fireworks in this game on offense, especially after what we saw in Game 1. Turner is a difference maker and should have a great encore performance after scoring 23 points in the previous game. Tatum should hit over this number in assists in trying to get other players involved because that is a big factor with the Celtics playing at home. Expect all these prop picks to hit.
