Toronto Raptors vs. Sacramento Kings: This same-game parlay is worth staying up late for

Wednesday features a solid slate of games in the NBA, but one game stands out for a same-game parlay bet. And that game just happens to be the Toronto Raptors vs. the streaking Sacramento Kings. Sorry, another late night West Coast game that you’ve got to stay up late for. But make no mistake about it, it’s worth staying up for.

Sacramento crushed Memphis on Monday night, and the Kings have quietly won seven of their last eight games. Don’t look now, but Sacramento is third in the West behind the Nuggets and Grizzlies, and very well could jump into second place by the All-Star break.

The Kings are four-point favorites on Wednesday night at home against the Raptors, and even though we like Sacramento to come out with the “W” on Wednesday,  we’re going to play it safe, and take Sacramento (+3.5) via the alternate spread to kick off our SGP. Sacramento has lost just one game by more than one possession since the New Year, and we don’t expect that to change on Wednesday. The Kings lead the NBA in points per game, and despite ranking in the bottom 10 of the league in points allowed per game, Sacramento’s offense has been able to make up for its defensive deficiencies.

And speaking of offense, that leads us to our next leg – De’Aaron Fox. Fox is Sacramento’s top scorer, and even though he might not be a three-point shooter by trade, he’s still good for at least one three. Fox has made at least one three-pointer in seven of his last eight games, and even though he doesn’t attempt no where near as many as Steph Curry or James Harden, you can still count on him to make one. Teams are willing to let Fox beat them from deep from time-to-time, which is why Fox to simply make one three-pointer is a must bet.

Speaking of player props, let’s go with All-Star forward Damontas Sabonis to record 10 or more rebounds to cap off our SGP. Sabonis is averaging just over 12 rebounds a game, and has recorded 10 or more rebounds in 22 of his last 23 games. Toronto is in the bottom half of the league in rebounding, and we expect Sabonis to dominate the boards on Wednesday. Don’t be surprised if Sabonis records 10 rebounds midway through the fourth quarter, but with this leg getting you pretty darn close to even odds, you’d be foolish not to include it in the SGP.

The SGP: Sacramento Kings (+3.5), De’Aaron Fox (over 0.5 three pointers) & Damontas Sabonis (over 9.5 rebounds) (-102 odds via FanDuel)
