 Toronto Unveils 30th Anniversary Logo For 2024-25 Season

The Toronto Raptors will have a new logo for their 30th anniversary this season.

The team revealed a new logo for the 2024-25 season, along with a commitment to a year-long calendar of special moments and events.

This will honor the culture, the city and the icons connected to the Raptors:

Raptors President and Vice Chairman Masai Ujiri talked about reflecting on the team’s history via a press release:

“We’re always looking forward, working for our next championship, but years like this are a good time to reflect on our team’s history and the amazing things we’ve achieved together, with the support of our fans, our organization, and our ownership. Rookies of the Year. Our many All-Stars – and an incredible All-Star weekend here in 2016. And of course, our Championship, which brought fans all across the country and the world together. Let’s celebrate these moments, as we look to add new ones to the list in the decades to come.”

The Raptors’ 30th anniversary logo features the the iconic basketball with the signature Raptors claw mark. The claw’s silhouette stretches over the “3”, paying homage to the Raptors original dinosaur presence.

In addition to the new logo, fans will be able to participate in many commemorative moments and events throughout the year in-arena, at home and in community spaces.

There will be game nights honoring different decades of Raptors basketball, a new program launching the City Edition uniform and a celebration of Vince Carter who will be inducted into the 2024 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

There will be more details 30th anniversary celebration plans throughout the season that the team will announce at a later date.

Canada beats Australia as RJ Barrett leads the way

Canada is off to a 2-0 start at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

They knock off Australia 93-83 to put itself in a prime position to clinch Group A and advance to the quarterfinals.

Leading the way for Canada was RJ Barrett. He has consistently been Canada’s top performer. Barrett put up 24 points on 8-14 shooting from the field. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
