The Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic met up in the Play-In Tournament for a chance to play the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Hawks, they were not able to get the win and took a 120-95 loss after struggling to get much going throughout most of the game.
The Hawks came out slow to start the game and saw themselves down as much as 22 points in the first half. They came alive in the third quarter and cut their deficit down to as much as three points and were led by Trae Young. That same fight did not lead into the fourth quarter, where the Hawks ultimately fell apart.
As things started to get ugly for the Hawks in the fourth, frustration started to build within Young and he was ejected after back-to-back technical fouls. As he was leaving the court, he ball-faked the ref twice.
Status alert: Trae Young has been ejected Tuesday after being assessed two technical fouls.

"Sore loser lmao, what was the point of all that," one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"Dude literally quit," another user wrote.
"You have to be joking wowwwww," a third user wrote.
One person even went on to say that Young should be suspended for their next game.
"Wild. He should be forced to miss Friday's game too," the user wrote.
Another user empathized with Young and understood his frustration.
"Dawg frustrated I can't even blame him," the user wrote.
Though Young was clearly frustrated after the Hawks' performance, they still have another chance to make the playoffs, as they'll face either the Chicago Bulls or Miami Heat on Friday, and the winner of that matchup will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round.
