Trinity Rodman Is Furious With The Announcers At Wimbledon

Trinity Rodman is at the Wimbledon Championships to support her boyfriend Ben Shelton. But it looks like she has a bone to pick with the announcers.

Taking to her Instagram Story yesterday, Rodman slammed the announcers for getting her name wrong (calling her "Tiffany" by mistake) but also for mentioning her father, NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman, during the broadcast.

Rodman asserted that Dennis is not in her life and she does not want to hear him brought up during Shelton's matches, let alone her pro soccer matches.

"For those who don't know... my name is TRINITY not Tiffany," Rodman wrote. “Also, for Ben’s matches he has his family there as his support system which includes his dad. My dads not even in MY life no need to bring him up during HIS matches when I don’t even want him talked about during mine. It's him and his loved ones' moment. Thank you.”

This isn't the first time that Trinity Rodman has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with Dennis. Back in December she famously said that while Dennis Rodman may be related to her by blood, she doesn't seem him as a dad.

"He's not a dad," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. "Maybe by blood but nothing else."

"With the dad situation, in terms of what I've filtered and what I've talked about, I feel like me and my brother have been very generous with the way that we've talked about it and very unselfish," Rodman explained. "I think we never want to make him look bad, and that is at the cost of holding in a lot, and a lot of issues we've gone through and just like, trauma, per se."

"Even now, I'm trying to be honest about it, and I'm still giving him sympathy," she said. "Which is frustrating for me because in reality, I think he's an extremely selfish human being. I think everything has always been about him."

That being said, Rodman can't expect every sports announcer in every single country to be aware of that. The two biggest things that people around the world know about her is that she is a soccer star for the USWNT and that she shares the last name of one of the most prolific forwards in NBA history.

Even now that she's posted about it publicly there are still going to be millions of sports fans who aren't online enough to know the truth about her relationship with him.
