Tyrese Haliburton Receives Exciting News Before Pacers-Knicks Series

Haliburton was on hand during the announcement via a video call, and the two-time All-Star shared his reaction to the news. 

"I'm really excited," he said. "Obviously, I got the opportunity to come and be in the garden and experience that and get the ring a little bit. So I'm excited about being a playable character in the game. And, yeah, it's going to be super cool. 

"I appreciate the opportunity, and I'm looking forward to it."

Haliburton was referencing an in-ring appearance during a June 2024 episode of "SmackDown" at Madison Square Garden, where he got to face off against Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson. 

After a ringside exchange between the two, Haliburton and Brunson found themselves face-to-face in the ring, with the Knicks star even bringing in a steel chair to the confrontation. 

Haliburton and Brunson will now bring their fight to the basketball court in the East finals. There won't be any weapons involved, but you can be sure that these two will be leaving everything on the floor as they look to lead their team to the NBA Finals.
