Tyrese Haliburton doubled down on antagonizing Knicks fans after the Pacers beat them in Game 7, wearing a hoodie with the iconic Reggie Miller 'choke' picture after the game as he went to speak to the press.

Reggie Miller infamously made the choking gesture against the New York Knicks during their 2000 Eastern Conference Finals series as he and the Indiana Pacers defeated the Knicks to go to the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Tyrese Haliburton had a solid game, scoring 26 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds as he led the Pacers to a Game 7 win against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Haliburton made some big shots against the Knicks as well, turning up when the pressure was high.
Indiana clearly had a chip on their shoulder, as few would have predicted them to beat the Knicks. In fact, 16 ESPN analysts all picked the Knicks to defeat the Pacers and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Haliburton had an incredible series against the Knicks, averaging 21.3 points, 7.0 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 7 games. His performances in Games 3, 4, 6, and 7 were truly outstanding, as he was the superstar that the Pacers needed to beat the Knicks.
The series started out really poorly for Haliburton, as he only scored 6 points in Game 1 against the Knicks, shooting just 33.3% from the field. It was a major turnaround from the former All-Star and one that his team really needed in order to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Haliburton and the Pacers will look forward to Tuesday night when they face the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the T.D. Garden. While the Pacers will be the underdogs going into the series, they will find confidence in the fact that they were able to overcome the odds in both their playoff series against the Bucks and the Knicks respectively.
Tyrese Haliburton has shown why he is considered one of the best young players in the NBA during this playoff run, putting on some major performances for the Pacers against some stiff competition. Haliburton has developed quite well since joining the Pacers and has become their key superstar.
Haliburton was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. Interestingly, the New York Knicks passed up on Haliburton in the draft to select Obi Toppin, who is now Haliburton's teammate in Indiana. After being traded by the Kings to the Pacers, Haliburton has gone from strength to strength, becoming an All-Star in the league for the first time in 2023.
Haliburton was uber-confident throughout the series, even trash-talking the Knicks as the Pacers blew out the Knicks in Game 4 at home. This confidence will serve Haliburton very well against the Boston Celtics, who had the best record in the NBA this season and are considered the favorites to emerge from the East and go to the NBA Finals.
For Tyrese and the Indiana Pacers, they must now figure out a way to stop the Celtics if they want to head to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000. Rick Carlisle's squad has a tough task ahead of them, but their grit and determination should serve them well against Jayson Tatum and the Celtics.
