UCLA Basketball: Jules Bernard Helps Bruins Celebrate Huge NBA Milestone
USA TODAY Sports

UCLA basketball has a storied history, and on Friday night, the program celebrated another milestone as former guard Jules Bernard made his NBA debut with the Washington Wizards. Bernard's entry into the league marked the 100th time a  former Bruin has hit the NBA hardwood.

A key player for UCLA from 2019 to 2022, Bernard's journey to the NBA took an unconventional turn as he went undrafted in 2022. However, he secured a two-way contract with the Wizards, showcasing his determination and skill. During his four-year stint with the Bruins, Bernard contributed significantly, averaging 9.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 23.4 minutes across 130 games.

His impact on the team's success is evident, and his 1,195 career points place him in the top 45 on UCLA's all-time scoring list. As Bernard takes the next step in his basketball career, UCLA fans extend their best wishes. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin. Go Bruins!
