The No. 5 Utah Jazz evened up the first-round, best-of-seven series with the No. 4 Dallas Mavericks after a thrilling 100-99 win on Saturday.
Utah's Jordan Clarkson lifted the Jazz with a tremendous performance off the bench. Clarkson finished with a team-high 25 points, shooting 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-5 from three.

With the Jazz up 54-42 at halftime, the Mavericks made a furious comeback in the third quarter, outscoring Utah 39-24 to take an 81-78 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
After a back-and-forth final quarter, the Jazz trailed the Mavericks, 99-98, with just 18 seconds left. Donovan Mitchell lobbed a perfect alley-oop to Rudy Gobert, who slammed down what would be the game-winner with 11 seconds on the clock.

Gobert finished with 17 points and led the team with 15 rebounds.
Donovan Mitchell had 23 points and a team-high seven assists for the Jazz.
Meanwhile, Luka Doncic all Mavericks' scorers with 30 points, while fellow guard Jalen Brunson had 23 points to pace the Dallas effort.
After splitting the first four games of the series, Dallas will host Utah for Game Five on Monday at 9:30 p.m. on TNT.
