The Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th NBA title on Friday with a 106-93 win over the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Finals at Walt Disney World. As fans celebrated, Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, took the time to congratulate the team.
Los Angeles' title was their first since 2010, when Bryant was the star of the team. Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a tragic helicopter crash in January. Since that day, the Lakers vowed to win the title for the Los Angeles legend.
“Wish Kobe and Gianna were here to see this," Vanessa wrote on Instagram following the Lakers' series-clinching Game 6 win over the Miami Heat on Sunday night, according to "Good Morning America.”
