On Friday, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Milwaukee Bucks 144-118. Victor Wembanyama outplayed Giannis Antetokounmpo, recording multiple blocks on the Greek Freak, slamming home a dunk, and hitting a circus shot over one of the league's top defenders.

On top of that, Stephon Castle, Keldon Johnson, and Harrison Barnes all had solid games, although the main story surrounding the Spurs this week has been trade rumors.

San Antonio has emerged as the top destination for All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox, and fans have been abuzz with discussion surrounding possible moves the Spurs can make. Wembanyama offered his thoughts on a deal.

Wembanyama, as the face of the franchise, is the only true "untouchable" player on the roster, and he's readily aware that a trade could happen at any moment, and the Spurs would have to part ways with one of his teammates and friends.

When asked about the rumors, he didn't seem the most excited about the possibility of a trade, but he did say it is "bound to happen."

"I know it's something that's bound to happen, but we'll see," said Wembanyama. "Every team has made trades in their history. It's bound to happen one day. I trust the front office. I stay in my role as a player. Of course, it's something that's going to happen one day."

Last year, the Spurs traded for Cedi Osman and moved some draft picks around. This summer, they traded for Harrison Barnes and some more draft picks, but the only NBA teammate Wembanyama has ever had traded away was Doug McDermott.

For Wembanyama, the business side of American basketball is new to him, but he's proven he can adapt quickly.
