The Warriors will be holding their training camp in Hawai’i again this fall, according to a team press release (Twitter link).
The Clippers revealed earlier on Monday that their training camp will be held at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa from September 29-October 3. The Warriors’ training camp will take place on the campus of BYU-Hawaiʻi over the same time period.
Golden State has made five previous trips to Oahu to hold training camp practices at the Cannon Activities Center in Laie, with the most recent being two years ago. The team’s other four training camps in Hawai’i were in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007.
The day before training camp opens (Sept. 28), the Warriors will hold their annual Media Day at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Warriors’ press release also contains the team’s six-game preseason schedule. On Oct. 4 at 4 pm PDT, the team will play at the Clippers in Honolulu before returning home to the Bay Area.
