The Golden State Warriors have been struggling in their second-round matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
As Game 5 takes place on Wednesday night, the Warriors are in a must-win scenario as they will fight back from a 3-1 deficit against Minnesota.
Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been on a tear in the round despite having to go against two of the best defensive players in the league in Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.
Although the Warriors are still putting up a fight, they haven't been able to get over the hump and win a game in the series since the last time Steph Curry was active.
As Golden State is riding a three-game losing streak heading into Game 5, they will look to put up a fight and hopefully win as the matchup moves back to Minnesota's home court.
A common question in the matchup has been whether or not Steph Curry will be able to return to court action before the Warriors lose out and end their season.
Curry went down with a hamstring strain in the first half of Game 1, shutting him down for the last three games and the Warriors released some positive news on the 37-year-old's status.
"The re-evaluation indicated that Curry is making good progress in his recovery. He has been cleared to participate in light on-court workouts, including shooting drills. He will re-evaluated again on Sunday," Warriors PR account posted on X.

It's been noticeable that Curry's absence has taken a toll on the Warriors' performance.
They have been without the two-time MVP and the 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists that he's provided in the eight games he's played in during the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Game 5 takes place on Wednesday night. If Golden State wins, Curry will have a chance of returning in Game 6 if his recovery goes as planned.
