Warriors' Decision on Possible Klay Thompson Trade Revealed
© Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors are currently 21-25 on the season, which has them a game back of a play-in spot, and six games back of a playoff spot. While teams in this position would hardly ever be talked about as a serious threat, the Warriors still employ one of the best players in the world in Steph Curry.

Curry's greatness is the reason Golden State still believes they have a chance to turn this season around, but it is becoming increasingly clear that such a turnaround is not going to happen without some roster moves.

This has led to speculation that Golden State could be willing to move on from one of their core players, most notably Klay Thompson, but a recent report from ESPN's Brian Windhorst suggests the Warriors have no interest in such a move.

ESPN reported on Wednesday, "The Golden State Warriors have no interest in moving Draymond Green or Klay Thompson before the trade deadline, according to ESPN insider Brian Windhorst. Speaking on 'SportsCenter,' Windhorst added the Warriors could look into trading Chris Paul, who is on an expiring contract, or Andrew Wiggins, who has had a difficult season with the team."

Reportedly open to dealing Wiggins or Paul, the Warriors could use one or both of their salaries to bring in a difference maker. Outside of that, it seems Golden State has made their final decision on a possible Thompson deal, reportedly having no interest in moving on from he or Green.
