NBA star Draymond Green is one of the most physical players in the league. Sometimes, he goes overboard with his antics. Fans witnessed that side of Green as he attempted to maintain the defensive play against Karl-Anthony Towns during Thursday's game between the Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks.
It happened early in the fourth quarter when Towns drove to the basket with the ball. Unfortunately for Green, he was on the ground. However, he persisted in trying to play defense against the Knicks star. The 2017 Defensive Player of the Year grabbed KAT's left foot, causing him to fall to the ground.
Towns turned to officials to complain about Green's dangerous play. He was rewarded with two shots from the charity stripe after they ruled a flagrant 1 foul on the Warriors star.

On X, Green was under fire by fans for his actions on the court.
"Is that even defense? What is this guy doing lol??" a fan said.
"At what point does the league start punishing this [expletive] cuz this is ridiculous," another fan commented.
"that should be a ejection lmao," an X comment read.
"Like what is he doing " someone commented.
"Why does he enjoy trying to injure other players," one fan commented.
"Just an outright dirty player man," a fan criticized.
This isn't the first time that Green has been called a dirty player. During their 2025 first-round series against the Houston Rockets, forward Dillon Brookscalled the Warriors star a "dirty player."
This was after star Jimmy Butler fell to the ground hard going up for a rebound in Game 2 of their series. Green was fighting for position for the defensive rebound and nudged Amen Thompson, who crashed to the floor. He collided with Butler, who was in the air for the rebound, and had a dangerous landing.
