Moses Moody scored 23 points before suffering a frightening left knee injury late in overtime, but the Golden State Warriors held on for a 137-131 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, extending Dallas’ home losing streak to 12 games — their longest in 32 years.

Moody went down after a steal from Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg near midcourt, attempting a breakaway layup when his left leg buckled. He stayed on the floor for several minutes before being taken off on a stretcher, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Moody was being evaluated with X-rays at the arena. Moody had just returned from a 10-game absence due to a right wrist sprain.

Golden State balanced its scoring across multiple players, with Kristaps Porzingis adding 23 points, Brandin Podziemski contributing 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Gary Payton II finishing a perfect 8-for-8 from the field for 17 points. Gui Santos scored 16 points, 11 coming in the fourth quarter and overtime. The Warriors erased a 15-point first-half deficit to force overtime and end a three-game losing streak, securing only their second win in the past 10 games.

Dallas was paced by Flagg, who scored 30 points and dished out nine assists but committed seven turnovers, including three during an 11-0 Warriors run that swung momentum in the fourth quarter. Daniel Gafford added 20 points for the Mavericks, who lost a second straight overtime game and fell to 4-23 since a four-game win streak.

After Moody’s injury, only one more point was scored, as both teams struggled to continue the intense contest. The Mavericks’ home struggles continue at the 25-year-old American Airlines Center, marking their longest skid there since a 12-game stretch during the 1993-94 season at Reunion Arena.
