Warriors G Stephen Curry (hip) won't play Friday night
David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was ruled out of Friday night's game at Cleveland due to tightness in his left hip.

Curry scored 29 points and played 43 minutes in Thursday night's 121-118 overtime loss at Boston, the beginning of a stretch of three games in four days for Golden State.

Curry, 34, is averaging 29.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 31 games this season. He missed 11 games earlier this season with a shoulder injury.

The short-handed Warriors will also be without Draymond Green (toe), Klay Thompson (Achilles), Andrew Wiggins (foot), James Wiseman (ankle) and Andre Iguodala (hip).

Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell is questionable with a left groin strain. Cleveland ruled out Ricky Rubio (knee), Dean Wade (shoulder) and Dylan Windler (ankle).
