Warriors interested in reunion with 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala

It appears the Golden State Warriors are interested in bringing a familiar face home.

Andre Igoudala appears to be one of the veterans that Warriors CEO Joe Lacob hinted at possibly joining the franchise this summer, according to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer.

The news comes after NBA insider Marc Stein reported Sunday that there is momentum behind Igoudala reuniting with the Warriors as a free agent this offseason after the Miami Heat declined his option for the 2021-22 season.

Igoudala, 37, averaged 4.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game with the Heat last season while shooting 38.3% from the field and 33% from deep.

It's unclear what Igoudala will provide on the court next season, but the Warriors know he'll be a solid veteran presence in the locker room alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Igoudala played six of his 17 NBA seasons with the Warriors from 2013-19, winning three titles with Golden State in that span.
