Warriors' Klay Thompson, Grizzlies' Desmond Bane appear on Game 2 injury report

As of Tuesday morning, both Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors and Desmond Bane of the Memphis Grizzlies don't appear to be in serious danger of missing Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals. The two lethal three-point shooters may, at the very least, enter Tuesday's duel dealing with injuries, though.

During Game 1 on Sunday, with Draymond Green having been ejected in the first half, Thompson came up huge in crunch time, connecting on the game-winning three-pointer with 36.6 seconds left in regulation. The five-time All-Star finished with 15 points on six-for-19 shooting and three-for-10 from distance in the victory.

After missing the last two seasons with ACL and Achilles tears, Thompson returned to finish the regular season by averaging 20.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists over 32 games.

Following a 2020-2021 campaign in which he made Second-Team All-Rookie, Bane upped his game even further this season, finishing with 18.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game across 76 contests. The TCU product ranked second in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage (43.6%), trailing only Luke Kennard of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bane struggled in the Game 1 loss, posting nine points, one rebound and one assist on three-for-10 shooting (one-for-five on three-pointers).
