Warriors locked into play-in tournament spot

The Warriors are officially headed to the play-in tournament.

With Memphis’ elimination, Golden State is now locked into a top-10 seed in the Western Conference, as relayed by Hoops Rumors.

That guarantees the Warriors a postseason opportunity, though their exact position within the 7-10 range is still to be determined.

Golden State entered the night within striking distance of moving up, with only a couple games separating several teams in the middle of the standings.

Now, the focus shifts to positioning.

Finishing seventh or eighth would provide two chances to advance to the playoffs. Landing ninth or 10th would mean facing a win-or-go-home scenario.

Either way, the Warriors are in.
