The chances of the Warriors snapping their losing streak against the Denver Nuggets have just gotten incredibly slim - the team will be missing their three best players.

In what almost seems like an act of defiance by the Warriors and their coaching staff, the team will be resting Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins against the Denver Nuggets. Steve Kerr commented about the decision after the team lost to the Warriors, and his tone seemed incredibly frustrated at the scheduling.

"We are not sending a lot of our players to Denver," Kerr said. "The decision was pretty easy. Throwing that game into the schedule the way the league did after that game was postponed and then going back to Denver. Three games in four nights, with two of those games being in Denver back and forth, were not putting our high minutes guys at risk."

While it's a smart move in terms of rest for the Warriors, it's a very risky move in terms of actually trying to get a win. The team is on a four-game losing streak, playing their worst basketball of the season, and desperately needs a win. The free fall has been so bad that the Warriors have actually fallen down to the 3rd seed, with a realistic chance of falling to either the 4th or 5th seed. The Warriors are only three games ahead of the 4th seed, and only four games ahead of the 5th seed.

Resting stars against a Nuggets team that has won eight of their last ten games, seems like an incredibly risky move.
