Warriors React to Draymond Green News on Monday

Draymond Green continues to make his mark in the NBA history books. 

The Golden State Warriors are currently competing against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the NBA playoffs. 

Golden State entered Game 4 of their second-round series against the Timberwolves down 2-1. Though the Warriors earned a victory in Game 1, stealing a game in Minnesota, they suffered back-to-back losses before Game 4. 

During Game 4, as the Warriors were looking to bounce back from their series deficit, Golden State announced a historic feat by Green. 

Green has passed NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki for the No. 23 spot on the NBA's all-time playoff rebounding list. 

"DRAY," posted the official social media account of the Golden State Warriors. "@Money23Green has passed Dirk Nowitzki for 23rd on the #NBAPlayoffs all-time rebounding list!" 

Nowitzki previously held the No. 23 slot on the NBA's all-time playoff rebound rankings with 1,446 rebounds in his career.  

The No. 1 player on the list is Bill Russell with 4,104 rebounds during his NBA career, where he led the Boston Celtics to an NBA record 11 championships. 

During his Hall of Fame career, Russell was honored as a five-time MVP, 11-time All-NBA member and 12-time All-Star. 

Green has established himself as one of the most versatile players in the NBA, known for his tenacity on the glass and ability to facilitate at a high level. 

Throughout the season with the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green has averaged 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
