Warriors’ Steph Curry Likely Again Sidelined for Several Weeks

While the Warriors are expected to announce an official timeframe for his return in the coming days, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Curry will be sidelined for “multiple” weeks, and therefore, miss the Feb. 19 All-Star Game.

This couldn’t come at a worse time for the defending champion Warriors (26-24), who sit in seventh place in the Western Conference and are trying to string something together and start looking like a contender again.

That will be tough to do without their resident superstar, who is perhaps the lone reason they’re even above .500 this year. This marks the second time this year that Curry, 34, will have missed a long stretch due to injury.

He also missed a total of 11 straight games in December and January because of a left shoulder subluxation. The Warriors managed to go 6-5 in that span. They may need to do even better this time around.
