Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors couldn’t get a win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday and suffered a 114-101 loss. The Warriors are still without their best player, Stephen Curry, who has been out with a knee injury since Jan. 30. That is why Kerr is relying on the rest of the team to step up.
Aside from Curry, the Warriors are also without big man Kristaps Porzingis. The Latvian center has been out for the fifth straight game since he made his debut with Golden State on Feb. 19. Amid the injuries from the team’s best players, they suffered another injury against the Clippers.
According to Steve Kerr, Moses Moody has suffered an injury to his hand. To be more specific, Moody jammed his right wrist and injured his shoulder. This explains why Moody shot 4-for-12 against LA and finished with 10 points.
Additionally, the 2022 NBA champion was limited to 25:04 minutes and did not finish the game on the bench. He headed to the locker room before the contest ended. Kerr said after that, there is no update on his availability moving forward.

The Warriors need most of their players healthy, and dealing with an injury to Moody isn’t the best news they could’ve gotten at this point in the season. Golden State is eighth in the Western Conference standings with a 31-30 record.
The Warriors had a strong performance in the first two quarters of the contest. They held the Clippers to just 42 points and had a commanding 14-point lead. Steve Kerr highlighted the team’s defense in the first half. But he said the team couldn’t get one to fall in the second half.
“We played (a) fantastic first half, our defense was excellent,” Kerr said. “We were flying around and getting some good shots. We didn’t foul… we just couldn’t get anything to go.”
Kerr credited the second-half defense of the Clippers — who slowed the pace after a brisker first half — and highlighted the play of Nate Williams.
“It’s fun watching him. Young player. Live body. Can make a shot. … Nate is a very impressive player.”

The Warriors were outscored in the third quarter, 35-23, and only had 22 points as a unit in the final quarter.
