It looks like Stephen Curry will continue to miss games for the Golden State Warriors. The two-time MVP has been out since Feb. 2 due to a "runner's knee." Curry has spent much time recovering from the injury, and the Warriors need his production.
The team has struggled without the NBA star, only winning five games since Curry's injury. The Warriors' third straight loss, a 130-124 overtime setback to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, dropped them to ninth place in the Western Conference.
Before their game against the Clippers on Wednesday, the Warriors announced that they would provide an update on Curry.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr appeared on 95.7 The Game's "Willard & Dibs" on Wednesday to talk about Curry's progression.
“He hasn’t practiced yet. He’s getting shots up. But he’s not in a place yet where we’re saying he’s going to be practicing anytime in the next few days,” Kerr said.
According to Kerr, the NBA star has been frustrated with the injury and wants to return to the floor with his teammates. He added that no one expected the setback to last longer. The Warriors are still eyeing Curry to return before the season ends. The head coach did not, however, provide an estimated return date for the four-time champion.
"[Steph]'s frustrated. He wants to be out there for his guys and it's been an injury that's lasted a lot longer than anyone thought it would. He's dying to be out there."

Due to Curry's injury, the Warriors are now 32-33 in the Western Conference and are ninth in the standings.
Before Curry's injury, he appeared in 39 games, averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists. The Warriors also released an update via X. According to the team, the star guard will continue to miss games and will be re-evaluated in 10 games.
The team also said that Curry has been doing individual workouts, which will continue to intensify based on his progress. He has missed 15 straight games. Initially, the Warriors hoped that the star would be back after the All-Star break.
Curry must go through a particular ramp-up procedure before he can resume playing. That includes playing in various full-speed scrimmages.
Brandin Podziemski has had greater playing time as a result of his absence. He has averaged 31.5 minutes per game over the last 15 games, up from 26.8 minutes per game before Curry's injury. During that span, Podziemski has averaged 14.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
