The Washington Wizards lead the Indiana Pacers at halftime 69-55.
It has been a tight game most of the way and the Wizards have played good defense and been efficient on offense.
So far, Washington has kept Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton in check with just eight points on 27 percent shooting.
Not many teams have been able to do that to Haliburton this year.
A huge second quarter for the Wizards was the key to giving them the lead as they outscored Indiana 39-18.
Washington rookie guard Bilal Coulibaly has been a star at both ends of the floor tonight as he has 14 points five rebounds with a steal.
But this dunk was the highlight of the first half for the rookie.
Wizards guard Jordan Poole is also having a fantastic first half with 18 points on 67 percent shooting including this dunk.
We've been waiting for the Poole breakout game and so far it is looking like this could be the one.
The Pacers leading scorer is forward Isaiah Jackson with 12 points on 75 percent shooting.
Washington is out-rebounding Indiana right now 26-22.
This is an interesting development considering how bad the Wizards have been on the glass this season.
The game has been a track meet as both teams lead the league in pace.
Right now, both teams are on pace for close to 120 possessions each.
Keys for Washington to hold the lead will be to continue to suppress Haliburton and also keep limiting the Pacers on the offensive glass.
