The Cleveland Cavaliers' offseason addition of Max Strus in NBA free agency is expected to add outside shooting and consistency, among other things. One thing that fans likely didn't expect it to provide is a player capable of throwing down powerful dunks on a top-tier shot blocker.
Strus' play during the 2022-23 season and specifically during the Miami Heat's run to the 2023 NBA Finals was impressive, to say the least. But in a recent video posted of him playing with fellow Cavs teammates, Strus took a pass, drove to the basket and finished with an emphatic dunk over big man Jarrett Allen.

The one-handed slam has grabbed plenty of attention in the short time since it's been posted and for good reason. Of Strus' 9.9 attempts per game last season with the Heat, just 2.8 of them came from inside the arc. Prior to last season, he had attempted fewer than two shots per game inside the three-point line in each of his three seasons in the NBA.
