Before tonight, Steph Curry was the only player to make 11 or more three-pointers in a game three times. Now Damian Lillard is the second.

Lillard made eight three-pointers before halftime, then sat the entire fourth quarter as the Blazers blew out the Timberwolves, 133-112. He hit his 11th triple with 5:45 left in the third quarter, and looked like he was in real danger to challenge Klay Thompson's record of 14 threes in a game (Thompson also sat out the 4th quarter) before missing his last three deep attempts.
Why not watch all eleven makes right now?
Lillard finished with 38 points and finished 11-17 from the arc. He's been red-hot since returning from injury Dec. 4. In the four games since, he's averaging 32.3 points and making 44.7 percent of his threes, raising his three-point average from 33 to 39.1 percent. And the team has been lighting it up too, pouring in 499 points in those games while going 3-1.
As usual, Portland has been defensively-challenged, but with Lillard back and shooting like this, the Blazers can win a shootout over any team in the league, especially with Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons combining for nearly seven threes a game at a 41.8 percent clip.
It's an amazing accomplishment for Lillard, but he still has a way to go to catch Curry. Only two players have ever made 11+ threes three different times. Lillard did it for the third time. For Curry, he's done it 12 times - and he's made 13 and 12 once each.
