Watch: Ja Morant hits pair of 360-degree layups against Nets

Around and around Ja Morant goes.

The electrifying Grizzlies guard scored four of his 21 points through three quarters on Monday night against the Nets on two incredible 360-degree layups.

On his first, Morant dribbled toward the basket and was met near the rim by Nets center Nic Claxton.

Morant spun in the air with the ball in his right hand, switched it to his left and sunk the layup.

He added a second circus layup in the third quarter with the Grizzlies trailing, 57-56.

Forward Jaren Jackson Jr. found Morant cutting toward the basket at the free-throw line, and he avoided Nets forward Cameron Johnson's block attempt with another mid-air 360-degree spin to get the layup to fall.

Through three quarters, Morant has 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting.

Morant entered Monday averaging 20 points per game during the Grizzlies' 4-3 start.

He missed most of last season, only appearing in nine games, after beginning the season suspended and undergoing season-ending surgery on a torn labrum in January.

When healthy, Morant is one of the league's most exciting players.

His dizzying display against the Nets was a reminder of what the Grizzlies miss when he's out of the lineup.
