Watch: James Harden had funny mishap before game vs. Knicks
Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

James Harden is definitely still in the adjustment phase with his new team.

The Philadelphia 76ers guard had a hilarious mishap prior to Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. As Harden went through his pregame dribbling routine while sitting courtside, he tried to remove the cushion of the chair he was sitting in. While he was doing so, the front row of chairs collapsed, and Harden came tumbling down. Take a look.

It was not a particularly hard fall, and Harden popped right back up. He did not appear to be at all affected by the mishap either, going on to log a triple-double (29 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 assists) as the Sixers cruised to a 125-109 victory over the Knicks.

Harden has the Sixers looking pretty scary right now, leading them to two straight wins by a combined 47 points since he joined the lineup. But for as talented as he is, Harden does not exactly get along with arena fixtures.
