Watch: James Harden stars in parody trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's new movie

Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden appeared alongside legendary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan in a parody trailer for his upcoming film "Knock at the Cabin."

In the fake trailer, the 52-year-old known for his twist endings, along with Harden, made multiple references to the lefty's signature moves on the court such as his "step back" and "fade away."

While Shyamalan and Harden are enjoying some "R&R," kicking back with a drink and playing chess, there's a knock at the cabin door, prompting the director to advise the former All-Star not to answer it.

Harden doesn't listen, and in pops Doc Rivers (the head coach of the Sixers) to seemingly put an end to the fun.

Shyamalan may also be poking fun at Adam Sandler's 2022 film "Hustle" in his tweet, which centers around an international scout for the 76ers (played by Sandler). The movie featured a host of current and former Sixers players, as well as Rivers.

Harden's Sixers (30-16) have a big Eastern Conference battle against the Brooklyn Nets (29-17) on Wednesday night. The game could see Philadelphia star center Joel Embiid and Nets point guard Ben Simmons square off for the first time during their NBA careers.
