Josh Hart was not a fan of where Jaylen Brown was putting his hands during Wednesday’s Game 5.
In the third quarter of the second-round playoff contest at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, the New York Knicks guard Hart had a heated moment with the Boston Celtics star Brown. The two players got tangled up on an off-ball screen during a Knicks offensive possession.
In an attempt to get around Hart, who was setting the screen, Brown ended up grabbing him by his groin. Hart then pushed Brown off him, which led to the two exchanging multiple shoves in succession. Here is the video.

Upon review, both Hart and Brown were given technical fouls for the incident. Brown was also hit with a personal foul on the play.
Emotions have definitely been building up over the course of the second-round series. During Game 2 last week, Brown had a profane message for Hart after scoring on him (video here). The Celtics, who entered Game 5 trailing the best-of-seven series 3-1, were also trying to find a way to win without their superstar player Jayson Tatum, who ruptured his right Achilles tendon during Game 4 of the series on Monday.
