The Phoenix Suns secured a hard-fought 123-114 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, but one of the more memorable moments of the night took place after a whistle.

Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado got into it with Suns center Mark Williams after Williams shoved Alvarado in the back after a whistle was blown.

Alvarado took exception to the shove and the conflict immediately escalated to a brawl, with Alvarado appearing to land a hard punch to Williams’ face before the two were separated.

Ultimately, both players were ejected from the game and can expect additional action from the league upon review.

The Suns went on to keep their lead for the entire second half and won the game.
