Watch: Kevin Durant blows kiss, cusses at fan
Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Durant has had yet another run-in with a fan, this time during the Golden State Warriors’ 108-103 loss to the Utah Jazz Wednesday night. On this occasion, the incident involved blowing a kiss at the fan and dropping a curse word.

After Durant made a free throw late in the second quarter, the superstar could be seen blowing a kiss and uttering the word “b—h” at the fan, who was seated along the baseline at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

As noted, this is not the first time Durant has had some kind of negative exchange with a fan, who it can be reasonably assumed was heckling the Warriors star.

Durant was fined $25,000 by the NBA earlier this season for “directing inappropriate language toward a fan” due to an expletive-laden exchange with a heckler, which included him saying, “Shut the (expletive) up and watch the (expletive) game.”

Durant later bemoaned the fine and the incident that inspired it, saying grown men who show up at NBA games to heckle players are “corny” and “weak.”

Not all of Durant’s exchanges with fans are necessarily hostile, though. Earlier this month, Durant was caught on video telling a fan to “Watch the game and shut up.” This interaction was relatively benign and humorous, though, as Durant’s suggestion elicited laughter from the crowd.

It’s safe to assume that Wednesday’s run-in will not be the last time Durant is involved in a fan-related incident. After all, the superstar can be notoriously thin-skinned at times, although the case can be made that Durant ought to avoid such interactions with hecklers.
