Watch: Lakers' Austin Reaves hits wild shot at halftime buzzer in Game 6

With the Los Angeles Lakers holding a 3-2 series lead and doing their all to avoid the series going to a Game 7 back at Golden State, the first half provided plenty of drama and excitement. Among the biggest names to emerge with a huge first-half showing was none other than fan-favorite Austin Reaves.

Reaves capped off a strong first half by taking full advantage of a huge Anthony Davis block on Donte DiVincenzo by knocking down a wild half-court heave as time expired.

It finished off a strong showing on both ends of the floor for Reaves, who shot 4-6 from the field with 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 20 minutes. He also knocked down both of his three-point attempts and drew two first-half fouls on Stephen Curry, who appeared a bit frustrated after the second foul.

Reaves and the Lakers went into halftime up by 10 in the potential closeout game. LeBron James and Anthony Davis also had strong showings in the first two quarters, with James totaling 15 points with three rebounds and three assists, while Davis tacked on nine points with 12 rebounds.

On the Warriors' side, it was a tough start for both Curry and fellow star Klay Thompson. The two combined to shoot 6-23 from the field and 3-14 from 3-point range. Only Curry and DiVincenzo scored in double figures in the first half. DiVincenzo was the lone bright spot from a scoring efficiency perspective, totaling 10 points with four rebounds on 4-7 shooting in 13 minutes.
