Watch: LeBron James caught seemingly fixing ‘dislocated finger’ during playoffs game
Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

With the Denver Nuggets and the Lakers facing off in the first round, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been all over the news. The Nuggets have taken a 2-0 lead after Jamal Murray‘s game-winner over AD. It was a nail-biting game in the altitude, as the men in purple and gold led by 15 at halftime. However, the Nuggets took control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Lakers, 40-57.

A recent post on Twitter shows that LeBron James may have dislocated his finger during the first quarter. The King finished the game with 26 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. James came alive in the second half, though fell just short of the Nuggets.

As seen in the video, it seemed that James popped his finger back in its place. However, even a dislocated finger couldn’t stop James from having a great game and being the most productive out of all. As Game 2 ended with the Nuggets up 2-0, the series going to Hollywood will be more interesting.

The Nuggets struggled at home, considering the margins of the last two games. It is only to wonder how they will perform as they take on the Lakers at home. They have a 10-game win streak to protect on the road, having built the momentum in the series.

LeBron James and the Lakers are close to ending their first-round

If the Lakers lose Game 3, they will have little to no chance of getting past the Nuggets. So far, James and company have done quite well. D’Angelo Russell has shown his consistency, and Anthony Davis has somehow found a way to guard ‘The Joker’ and be as dominant in the paint himself. James on the other hand has been playing his best when it matters the most.

In the last month or so, the Lakers have made a considerable comeback, coming up from the 9th seed to the 7th seed. After a smooth win in the Play-In tournament, the Lakers clinched their playoff berth. Now down 0-2 against the same team they played last year in the Conference Finals, the squad has to ensure a win at home.

Game 3 is scheduled on April 25th as the men in purple and gold look to end the Nuggets’ win streak and tie the series. It will be interesting to see what changes the Lakers might make in the next contest.
