Watch: LeBron James gets fan kicked out of Lakers game

LeBron James has dealt with his fair share of troublemakers and hecklers over the years, but very rarely has he been left annoyed by a member of his fan base.

During Monday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder, a fan at Crypto.com Arena – presumably holding courtside seats – abruptly approached James and began conversing with him near the Lakers bench.

As seen in the video below, the fan even got handsy with the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, grabbing James by the arms and making a gesture before trying to shake his hands. A visibly upset James would, understandably, shove the fan away until security personnel sprung into action and escorted him out of the building.

Timeline of LeBron James getting fans kicked out

November 2021: James had two fans ejected from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for heckling him during the Lakers' overtime win over the Indiana Pacers. After the game, James told reporters that he was subjected to “obscene gestures and words” from the pair of fans. While exiting the premises, the fan did a sarcastic pout and rubbed away fake tears – creating a viral moment on social media.

February 2021: Four courtside Hawks fans were ejected from State Farm Arena in Atlanta for relentlessly booing James and engaging in a verbal spat with him. However, James wasn't the one who got them ejected! Instead, the fans were reprimanded for not wearing masks while trash-talking James. After the incident, James admitted that he "missed that interaction" with fans, and did not approve of them getting ejected. " I don't feel like it was warranted to be kicked out," James said at the time.
