
Watching his team come together and pull off a 123-115 victory over the Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer was pleased with the effort and the adjustments that were made.
Losing two of its last 10 games coming into Thursday, the Suns returned home to Phoenix and were able to prevail over a Hawks team that kept fighting. Bradley Beal came off the bench to score 25 points, both Kevin Durant and Grayson Allen had 23 each and Devin Booker recorded a double-double, 20 points and 12 assists.
When talking to the media postgame, Budenholzer liked the adjustments that were made after allowing 72 points in the first half, revealed his thoughts on why Jusuf Nurkić did not play despite being available for selection, Booker’s recent tear playmaking-wise, Beal’s effectiveness off the bench and more.
