After two disappointing NBA seasons, former first-round pick Obi Toppin hopes to come into his own this season for the New York Knicks.
On Friday night in the Knicks' preseason tilt against the Indiana Pacers, Toppin flashed the type of potential Knicks fans want to see more of during the 2022-23 campaign.
Late in the third quarter, Toppin blocked a three-point attempt and received an outlet pass before slamming home an uncontested between-the-legs dunk, causing the crowd at Madison Square Garden to come unglued.

Toppin finished the night with 24 points off 10-of-14 shooting, adding three rebounds and two blocks in 20 minutes of action.
The Knicks drafted Toppin with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft out of Dayton.
Last season, the 24-year-old averaged 9.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 72 regular-season games. Through 134 career NBA games, Toppin has averaged 6.7 points and 3.0 rebounds.
