Furthermore, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, he will carry out an MRI on Monday to get more details on his prognosis. He is the Rockets’ leading scorer this season and ended the game with 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Currently in his third season with the Rockets, he is averaging 21.1 PPG, 9.3 RBG, and 5.0 APG.

The Houston Rockets win on the road again for the third time running

Despite the sour ending to what was a well-fought away win, the Houston Rockets saw off the Sacramento Kings on their own turf, extending their record to four wins in five games as they attempt a late mount for a place in the postseason via the Promotion-Play Offs.

Fred VanVleet led the charge for the Rockets with 22 points, four rebounds, and nine assists, ably assisted by Jalen Green who ended the game with 19 points, two rebounds, and three assists. Interestingly, the Rockets had seven players in double digits. The win didn’t come easy as the Rockets were trailing by five points at the end of the second half but a strong third-quarter performance was the catalyst for the upset win where they outclassed and outscored the Kings 32-14, shooting 11/24 compared to the Kings 4/16.

The Rockets currently sit 11th on the Western Conference standings with a record of 29-35. Now, they’ll move to another away game to face the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center.
