Steph Curry has made more three-pointers than anyone in NBA history. Before Thursday night, he'd never made eight three-pointers without a miss.

Curry was a perfect 8-for-8 from three-point range as the Warriors snapped out of their offensive funk in a 139-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It was one of those nights when Curry couldn't miss, even when he launched a 29-footer off the backboard, a shot that even surprised him.

His last two threes were running pull-up shots from well behind the three-point line, as if he was testing just how far his range extended on his magical shooting night.

The game was too far out of hand for Curry to attempt to tie the single-game record of 9-for-9 shooting on threes, one held by Jalen Brunson, Ben Gordon and Latrell "The Landlord" Sprewell. Though after the game, Curry claimed that if the TNT broadcasters had simply told him, he would have risked ruining perfection to match the record, even if Steve Kerr wanted to take him out.
After Curry's sixth three-pointer, Kerr wanted to take him out for Dennis Schroder, but Curry refused to leave, staying in to hit another jumper before exiting.
He wasn't just bombing away. Curry also threw some slick passes, accounting for 10 of the team's 42 assists.

Curry will have to chase a 9-for-9 or even 10-for-10 on another night. For now, he'll settle for getting his team above .500 and up to 17-16 on the season.
