Watch: Stephen Curry comes alive as Warriors eliminate Clippers

Stephen Curry took over in the second half on Wednesday to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in tournament 126-121.

The Clippers started off strong, jumping out to a 10 point lead after four minutes off action. For the Warriors, Stephen Curry went to the locker room with an apparent injury, but returned to the game shortly after.

The first half was defined by a number of extended scoring runs from both teams. The Warriors stormed back into the game and took a lead in the second half, but Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers responded with a run of their own. By halftime, L.A. was ahead by eight points.

In the third quarter, both teams began to heat up on the offensive end. Curry in particular was outstanding in the third, dropping 16 points in that quarter alone.

The fourth quarter was a show of offensive magic from the Warriors. They shot a blistering 75% from the floor in the final 12 minutes. Curry’s clutch shooting capped off an impressive second half and sealed the win.
