Stephen Curry earned some brownie points with his significant other on Thursday.
After reaching the milestone of 4,000 three-pointers in a 130-104 win over the Kings, the Warriors star tossed the game ball to his wife, Ayesha.
Mark Twain once said "Behind every successful man there is a woman" and after a historic night hitting his 4000th three, the game ball goes to Ayesha Curry! #WomenEmpowerment pic.twitter.com/pdsn2sin3G

Ayesha Curry wasn't in attendance to witness his record-breaking 2,974th three at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 14, 2021, when Stephen Curry surpassed Ray Allen as the NBA's all-time three-point leader. He seemed to want to make it up to her at Chase Center on Thursday.
"She wasn't in New York for the the record, the 2,974. So it was cool that for the 4,000, she was here," Curry told reporters. "She's got the responsibility of making sure the ball gets home ... We've been all together for a very long time. Coach [Steve Kerr] allows family to be a part of what we do as much as possible. We've got kids running around the practice courts. I realize when we started this, we were all youngins in the league and he's seen our families grow one-by-one over the years."
Stephen Curry further cited Kerr, who took charge of the Warriors before the 2014-15 season, for fostering a family-like atmosphere. Three of Curry's four children — daughter Ryan and sons Canon and Caius — were born after Kerr became head coach, and his firstborn, daughter Riley, was born in 2012. A 3-year-old Riley made headlines in 2015 when she invaded Curry's news conference and has since remained a part of the Warriors ethos.
"It's kind of cool that we get to share the on-court and off-court experience together," Curry said of the Warriors' family-friendly vibe.
