Watch: Stephen Curry’s remarkable playoff free throw streak finally ends
Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

Stephen Curry hadn’t missed a free throw in the fourth quarter or overtime of a postseason game in nearly four years. That streak ended on Monday night.

The Golden State Warriors star missed a free throw in the fourth quarter of Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers.

It was a stretch of 81 straight.

Per Elias (H/T Warriors PR), it was Curry’s first such miss since Game 6 of the 2015 NBA Finals. That was the same night that Curry won his first championship. Needless to say, a lot has changed in the NBA since the last time it happened.
