Receiving a bigger role over the past few games, Phoenix Suns rookie Oso Ighodaro was all smiles after the team won 120-113 over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.

In 30 minutes of action, Ighodaro logged 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal. Mason Plumlee started at center with Jusuf Nurkić out with an illness and posted two points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

Devin Booker had 30 points, Kevin Durant added 27 and Bradley Beal came off the bench for 15. Grayson Allen scored 13 points before he sustained a knee injury and couldn’t return.

At his first-ever NBA postgame press conference, Ighodaro shared how big this win was to the group, how he is trying to use his strengths to his advantage, how Plumlee and him have been rotating, having mutual trust with Durant and more.
