Watch: Trae Young may have had worst flop of NBA season
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday’s game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Dallas Mavericks saw Hawks star Trae Young flop even harder than Kevin Federline’s solo career.

During the third quarter of the game, Young got an offensive rebound before Mavs star Luka Doncic made very slight contact with him. Young responded with a flop for the ages, dramatically flailing backwards from the free throw line area to nearly the halfcourt line. Take a look.

The worst part is that Young was actually rewarded by the official with a foul for the inexcusable flop. It was also Doncic’s fifth personal foul, forcing him to sit out for the remainder of the third quarter.

Though he is a talented player who will even be starting in this year’s All-Star Game, Young is also one of the league’s most infamous and shameless foul-baiters. At this point, you could probably fill an entire highlight reel with just the ridiculous flops of the 23-year-old Young.
