The Indiana Pacers' 115-114 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks ended on a zany football-inspired play. Exceptional entertainment tends to transcend the arena in which it's played, making sense of Tuesday's social media activity following Indiana's victory. After Tuesday's exhilarating finish, a WWE legend reacted to Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton's game-winning shot.

Haliburton, although displaying a respectful disposition on and off the court, has an affinity for the chaotic, envelope-pushing, and mostly vulgar wrestling WWE faction D-Generation X

Out of respect for the professional wrestling clique and the sake of fashion, Haliburton donned a unique pair of D-Generation X-inspired Pumas

Before Haliburton traveled to Paris for the 2024 Olympics, he appeared on multiple shows for the WWE, where he had the golden opportunity to meet Paul Michael Levesque, also known as Triple H, one of the founding members of the aforementioned faction.

In addition to Levesque's legendary wrestling career, he's since moved up the company's hierarchy as the Chief Content Officer, essentially having the final say on many segments and storylines.

Since participating in WWE events, Haliburton and Levesque have become closer, even to the point of the wrestling legend supporting the Pacers star after a significant victory.

"Buzzer Beater," Levesque posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). Game over. Maybe it’s the shoes?"

The Pacers beat the Bucks on a play called four verticals, in which four players line up for an inbound pass, similar to running a route in football. Haliburton received the pass and ultimately hit a four-point play over Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo to win the game.

Although Haliburton's participation in Wrestlemania wouldn't bode well for the Pacers' final 2024-25 season stretch, perhaps the star point guard could find himself in a WWE ring again after the 2025 playoffs.
