New York basketball is back from a slow start. After a 5-5 start, the New York Knicks recently found their groove. With their foot on the pedal for an 8-2 stretch in their last 10 games, their fortune will likely grow on Thursday vs. the Charlotte Hornets. The injury report for the Knicks vs. Hornets contest features a star point guard.
Aside from rim-protecting Knicks center Mitchell Robinson, their injury report isn't as spotted as the Hornets'. Unlike last season, the Knicks' health appears on the healthy side of the spectrum.
New York beat the Hornets 99-98 on Nov. 29, with LaMelo Ball sidelined. While the Madison Square Garden crowd will adore Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, they'll also have to endure a Hornets team without Ball.
Although it seems the Knicks will easily beat the Hornets at home, especially considering their recent 10-game stretch, they could feel the sting of a team inspired by the bright lights, even without their star player.
However, the injury report alludes to Charles Lee digging deep into his questionable rotation, which could lead to a long night for the visiting Hornets.
