Boston leads the series 3-1, still comfortably in front heading into Monday’s Game 5.
However, in a stunning turn of events, Dallas kept its postseason hopes alive with a resounding 122-84 victory on Friday, forcing the Celtics to return home for more than just a parade.
The Mavericks, now just one win away, are on the brink of making things uncomfortable for the presumed champs.
My top pick of the night is Dereck Lively II at +270 to record a double-double for the third consecutive game.
The Mavericks rookie has grabbed 25 rebounds over his last two games and scored 11 points in each, shooting a combined 9-for-11 from the field.
Bringing. The. ENERGY.
Dereck Lively II, with shades of Tyson Chandler, has been a key part of the Mavs run in his rookie season

He was named to the All-Rookie Second Team this season, but in Games 1 and 2 in Boston, he struggled, scoring only four points with 12 rebounds and playing fewer than 20 minutes each night.
However, back at the American Airlines Center, Lively recorded double-doubles in both games, amassing 22 points and 25 rebounds.
Lively played a crucial role in breaking down the Celtics’ defense, leading to a dominant 60-26 advantage in points in the paint.
"We just gotta be the aggressor; we gotta play desperate. … Whenever we came out..just doing whatever we can and playing desperate, that's when we found ourselves playing our best brand of basketball."

Dallas also controlled the boards, 52-31, and turned a 13-4 edge in offensive rebounds into 14 more second-chance points than Boston.
The Mavericks also regained their key offensive elements, hitting corner 3-pointers and executing lob dunks that were missing earlier in the series.
While his scoring might be a concern, with Kristaps Porzingis banged up and not at full strength if he even plays, Lively should dominate both the offensive and defensive boards in this game.
Moreover, Jason Kidd has favored him in the Dallas center rotation, giving him most of the minutes in the last two games.
This is one of my favorite prop plays on Monday night. Dereck Lively’s getting over 8.5 rebounds and Lively’s double-double of +270 are two tremendously valuable player props.
