The playoffs this season in the NBA have been interesting.
We are seeing a changing of the guard before our eyes with the conference finals in.
No usual superstar in the conference finals as LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Nikola Jokic, and Jayson Tatum are out. The young faces have taken over in a battle to see who becomes the next face of the league that we talk about for years to come. Anthony Edwards, 23, has the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 26, of Oklahoma City.
Tyrese Haliburton, 25, has the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals versus Jalen Brunson, 28, of the New York Knicks. The game is as exciting as it has ever been because fans want to see the torch passed to the young guns. Minnesota, Oklahoma City, and Indiana have yet to capture an NBA Championship, while the Knicks won a title in 1973.
We are about to see a new face born in the league, and it will be fun to see who it becomes.
